DMBAlmanac doesn't say it was just Dave and Tim.

I thought this was the best performance this weekend. Dave was spot on, they didnt try and overdo it and make it epic. I know there were no horns, but it sounded so good.

Damn...why doesn't Boyd do things like this today

I know this has been said before, but I never would have thought in my early CD trading days that there'd ever be instantly watchable multi-cam videos from shows 2 days after they happen. I love that the tapers take such great advantage of the technology they have. This is just amazing.

Edit: I also just thought of the fact that this must the first time Tim has played Cry Freedom with the full band in a REALLY long time. Awesome.

First time he has ever played on this song with the full band actually The closest other match was on 04.29.96, but Roi and Carter were missing. Wow, I didn't even realize how rare this is until now.

P.S. And before someone mentions "Roi not being there" on Saturday, it's still considered full band.

Wow, awesome. I might have guessed he did at one of the '93 shows, but was too lazy to check the almanac. That's pretty cool.

...and yeah, no sax at all, but whatever, it's still the first time in a "full band setting," and first time on electric.

there was a show in 93 I think, or maybe it was just a random appearance somewhere, Maybe the blockbuster video or the used car parking lot show- I dont remember.... But its just Dave and Roi.... I wish I had my hard drive to upload it here, but maybe someone can throw it up.... Anyways, its the special performances like these throughout the years that I fall in love with each and everytime I come across them. I think I should go and listen to LBV from gorge right now!!
