Not sarcastic. It's one of my favorites. The lyrics get deeper than that particular line. I always wonder how he can write something like this and then write something with subpar lyrics.

Hartford 02 might be one of the best moments for me at a show.

The last time I caught this -- 7.7.04 -- the crowd was completely enthralled. It was pretty awesome (but then again, the crowd on the whole was great that night).

Yup, that's the one I caught. Like I said, I don't ever need to hear that song live again, that was perfect. Great moment from a great show.

I need to dig that show out, haven't listened in a while. Too bad a better tape never surfaced.

I had the worst seats for that show

Oh no these were BAD...They were the uncovered seats that use to be the lawn. I had not taped my first show yet( RRFB 12/4/04).

Heh, that's where I was that night as well. Got tix at the last minute.

Nothing is worse than the lawn itself there now. God what a hellhole.

Those were the worst seats I have had since I met my wife. But I did not sit with her that night.

12.31.92 Cry Freedom is really awesome. It is a rare case of Peter's keyboard actually adding nice texture to a song, and Boyd's solo is perfect.

I first got Cry Freedom D&T 3.22.03. While I prefer that performance musically, 9.11.03 had alot more power with the general vibe going on that day with 9.11 being so fresh still. Very very emotional response from my section of the crowd that night.

Yeah I was up there as well. At least the crowd was pretty excellent even if the seats sucked.
