ebasement.org is another DMB message board. I believe it started around 2007 or around that time. It was invite only and consisted of a smaller group of members, as compared to here. In addition, there wasn't as much activity there (slower pace). As a matter of fact, I just logged in now and saw that no new posts have been made on there over the past 2 months.

I kept this from AmI back when post counts somehow meant something more to me. If I remember correctly that Kristen lady married Craig Bromley, who joined the Army or something.

I breezed through some of the other boards like Ami and EBM. Really went from Ants to ufck to here.

I remember there was a big kerfuffle on Ants about somebody on ufck challenging Jake on his ownership of the domain. That's what prompted me to investigate ufck because I was thinking "Who are these people, how dare they attack Ants!" A few weeks on ufck and I figured out the truth about how bad Ants sucked

Yup I stopped by last year out of boredom and quickly realized the DMBfamily is the child of a brother and sister at Ants.

i started off on nancies only because i think i was online looking for setlists back in the day, and it seemed like nancies was at the top of the search results at the time.

but as soon as i found out about the bridge, switched over there and never looked back.

I had a ufck membership that I think I logged in with 3-4 times over a decade ago. I couldn't even tell you what my username was, I honestly have no idea. Every time I'd go it always felt like people trying to outdo each other and the "edginess" came across as a tad contrived, often wading into "try hard" territory. I couldn't do it, I don't think I ever made a single post. I just remember logging in a handful of times, seeing pile on after pile on, and thinking "nope."

I mostly stuck to Nancies for a while and then joined here because it was more active and I had met more of the people here at shows and stuff.

EBM used to have a nice flow to it, it was much busier than it is now though never matched the volume of TDC at its peak. Lots of good beer talk there for a long time though.

If we ever relax the suppression levels back to "mitigation" policies, we go right back to 2 million people dead within three months.

This continues until there is a disseminated vaccine, currently 18 months from now.

Bridge days were great during that 02 tour.

Then I ventured off to ufck.

Fucked around a bit and have been here.

Crazy to think that I've interacted with most of you for nearly 20 years.

it's wild to realize that I have known you friends of mine on here longer than some of my other friends in life. Pretty awesome to think about.

don't remember any usernames, but I do still remember the guy with the collapsible night stick that said he wasn't a redneck because he wears khaki pants and wants to live downtown

and the guy that said he was being featured in I believe Forbes, and then it turned out it was like 2 sentences about downloading MP3s.

A remember a funny story about a user who reached into a "full" toilet because his cell phone accidentally dropped in there. I recall him screaming "nooooo!!!" as he was doing so. Pretty funny stuff.

I started after I saw my first show in 2002. I checked out the setlist and reviews on Nancies, then went on the board.

Nancies - Bridge / Ami - TDC

Nancies was great site too. At times, I miss that nostalgic aspect of going to a site and posting your review/thoughts about a concert that you just witnessed live. The almanac is absolutely phenomenal though and Iím so grateful that we have that site too. I guess I just miss the old days sometimes. B&Ps, video/audio trees, etc.. Bit torrent and steaming really changed the game.
