well, I'll say this, no matter whether it's what it claims to be, it sounds amazing.

I am intrigued. I am not a big fan of the recent remaster, I prefer my capital vinyl. I wonder which master this rip is from?

Some hardcore fans sitting next to be both nights in Philly were telling me that this could be the band’s last tour. Thoughts on this?

Been exploring this band a lot more lately. I've only been listening to them seriously since about January, but fuck do I love just about everything I've heard.

Definitely coming up as one of my favorite bands.

I got deep into them towards the end of high school. Good memories there. I envy you experiencing that now. I got really into them with Hail To The Thief, then OK Computer, then The Bends, then Kid A and then Amnesiac. I went hard on all of that material, saw them live twice, and then my fandom was cooling a bit around 2006-07. And then, they released In Rainbows, and it re-sparked my fandom all over again and then some.

It's been a wild ride! It's funny, I listened to OK Computer in high-school but didn't get into it, however I spun it again after a few years and now I'm in love it with.

From what I understand a lot of people aren't as crazy about HTTT but I fucking love that album.

I FL everything up to HTTT.

Sort of fell off of them after that though, none of the later stuff grabbed me. OK Computer is right up there with BTCS and Gorillaz as the soundtrack to my mid-late teens though.

The only song I don't care for on Hail to the Thief, which is probably my favourite Radiohead album because of the variety of sound, is Backdrifts. But I admit I find other albums of theirs, particularly In Rainbows, A Moon Shaped Pool and OK Computer easier to spin. Even The King of Limbs is a breeze. I'm not afraid of challenging music though, just don't reach for it as quickly as the more accessible stuff.

I might need to give some of the later stuff a spin again. I had a bad habit of going “eh nah” to stuff for a while.

I've enjoyed their later albums but they peaked with Hail to the Thief with me.

Aw I love Backdrifts. For me, We Suck Young Blood is the only song I don’t like on HTTT.
King of Limbs was a letdown after In Rainbows (and after waiting four years). I don’t like the production very much and it almost feels more like a Thom solo album to me. A lot of that glitchy stuff. The only great songs on it are Lotus Flower and Little By Little, IMO. Bloom is incredible live but less on the album. The other songs are good (aside from Feral which sucks), but not career highlights by any means.

Moon Shaped Pool is solid and great overall. Though its their mellowest and gloomiest album, and I rarely want to spin it top to bottom at once. I don’t like what they did to True Love Waits either.

Yeah, me neither. Also, Videotape is a rare song they just overcooked throughout the years and the end result is underwhelming compared to versions they once played before. A solo Thom acoustic version of TLW wouldn't have been bad, but at least we still have the version released on the I Might Be Wrong live album. As for Videotape, the song really was best in 2006 with the build-up near the end. I also love the Thom solo debut from 2005 and the Scotch_Mist live version from late 2007.

Oh, and I think Codex is the best song on TKoL. Lotus Flower is still awesome though.

In Rainbows is one of their best albums. Up with The Bends, OKC and Kid A.

I admit I've cooled to The Bends over the years. I don't know why because I love many of the songs.

I actually have too. I basically included it because it seems to be one of the albums that is usually mentioned in that group. I think that it’s one of the only Radiohead albums (excluding Pablo Honey) that feels like it was of its time. Which means that now, even though most of the songs are fantastic, the album as a whole feels kind of dated. At least to me.
