Yeah definitely the nicest venue I've been to with SPAC being second. I haven't traveled farther than PA or ME for a show though

Constantly hounded in the Pav at SPAC about smoking, being in the isles, etc. Not to mention how hard they crack down in the lots.

Completely able to walk freely in the lots at Bethel, didn't even need a solo cup. Not a word from security inside. Great view from the lawn, unlike SPAC, and endless places to sit.

I agree with most of this. I dont mind security telling people to not smoke in the pavillion though, as I don't smoke and find it to be a bit annoying. Also, I haven't ever really been hassled in the SPAC lots, but the Bethel lots are a lot more tailgate friendly it seems.

The lawns are just as you described. Sound is sick at Bethel, even in the way back.

Edit: smoking, meaning cigs.

I'll try to do a show if it can be done over the weekend. I'm not quite at a point with Phish where I'll take time off to travel, but if it's like a Sat show I think I'd do it.

Merriweather might work then. Drive to my house after work on Friday, then we could head down Saturday morning.

I need to find tickets, but I think this is something I may want to do. I wouldn't mind hanging out with the wooks on the lawn.

Dunno how tough it would be to get a day off at the new job, but I think I could take Monday off, this way I could go to both shows. Hmmmm...I bet we could get Chayim and 20 ply to go too.

That could be fun. Plus Howell lives right there, and Phelps and others will be there.

Hoping to hit Tweeter on the way back from Wakarusa Festival lol. Bethel just wasn't enough. Would be sweet to roll into Tweeter going from AR to Boston and just head back to my apartment after the show, right from festival to Phish. Perfect!

I think I'm gonna have to give up my Great Woods tix.. too busy at work. Anyone know anyone who needs tix? I have a pair of PTBM in Sec 7 CC and a single LiveNation ticket in Sec 1 Row P. I wish I could make it.. if I wasn't 3 hours away on a weeknight I would do it.

No Quarter was epic. Really was. The Tweezer was great too. Better than Bethel for sure. Huge storm rolled through right at the start of the second set. Solid show. PNC venue is cool but the scene was pretty non existent. Kind of a weird vibe. Glad I went, though.

If anyone has Camdens let me know, thanks!

That's what I've been thinking. I know since I'm not going that it's going to be a great show

Im not so sure they'll be doing what they did last year with the new covers at pretty much every stand. I hope so, though.

Shakedown was in that far off lot and there was a good crowd there. The center parking area wasn't too bad (at least the first night).

Security was lax getting in, the venue is petty cool since I haven't been there since 04.

Wasn't very happy with last night's show. First night was a lot better IMO. There were just too many songs without peaks and Trey would just rush to the next song rather than jam it out.
