Close, a Calphalon 3 in 1 immersion blender. I made some homemade guac the other day with that thing and it was silly good.

Can't wait to get my SF Giants Championship Pins. One is a set of three and another is a set of 5. Bought them in 2010, 2012 so I just had to buy them in 2014. Now I need to see if I can find some shot glasses and other trinkets to spend the money I don't have on.

I love my G-Shock. I've had it for 12 years. Paid $150 for it on Dec. 28th 2002. I had to send it once when the back light display wouldn't illuminate. The internal battery was also starting to deplete. That was about 8 or 9 years in of ownership. Paid an additional $85 to get that fixed. This what mine looks like (sorry about the size, it's hard to find images on Google of this watch)

I was actually looking at that one on Amazon. I have a long history with my model (the 6900) of G-Shock watches (but with batteries not solar charged), so I decided to stick with this style. But yeah, they are great watches and this one has everything I need/want and more.

As in a dress watch or an every day watch? What is your budget?

If there's a Costco near you, they carry Movado watches which I like. They are easily in that price range, work well and can be dressed up/dressed down.

Back on topic, I'm pretty dang excited about this, which arrives (hopefully) today (this is not my actual vehicle, but simply a stock internet photo):

Just got the call that my truck arrived!

Literally, as I was typing that post, someone came into my office with a giant box. His mother (in her mid-late 80s) had bought him a watch off the home shopping network and it was fucking enormous -- like "weigh your wrist down" large. He said there was no way he could possibly wear it, but he thought it might not look so goofy on me since I'm tall.

I declined, as the watch is fucking huge and I couldn't imagine owning or wearing a watch that literally weighed my wrist down. But, I could have had a free watch in the seconds immediately following my joke about not owning a watch.

I might wait until I see some reviews, but for $99 it's pretty tempting.

Didn't think to post this. I recently picked up a sweet 1962 RI Fender Jaguar in candy apple red from a friend. It has been about 12 years now since I bought a new electric (primarily acoustic player), but I've been filling in for someone at some bar gigs so decided fuck it, why not?

These guitars are so strange. On the one hand, they have a tone that is just unlike any other tone that I've found. On the other hand, they are a fuckin whore to keep setup! Leo Fender tried to make the bridge so that you can adjust every single damn thing about the string height/etc etc, and it just is way too much. Always has buzzing strings or fucked up intonation. I had a spare Mustang bridge laying around that I swapped in, and it's 100% GTG now

So far, I'm using it for songs we play in Open E tuning. The tone is just so damn slick that it really cuts through everything else. Slightly smaller scale neck too, which I actually enjoy. My trusty Strat will always be my go-to electric, but I'd definitely recommend trying one of em if you fellas get a chance to
