Munich, Germany (For the last weekend of Oktoberfest; October 2nd -> 5th)

Prague, Czech Republic (October 7th - 10th)
Berlin, Germany (October 10th -13th)

Nice. Make sure you top the drunk/high thread before you leave.

First, need to find a spare G sitting around just to get there.

Seriously jealous right now.

Oh there are reasons I'm perpetually broke.

But the way I see it, I'm single, 30, and probably on my 'final run' before a serious relationship and - - kids one day. It's now or when I'm 70 and can barely walk. Now sounds much more appetizing. I'll go to Hawaii and tourist traps like that when I'm 70.

Yeah my flight was $920. That's actually not too bad, considering I'm flying into one city and out another.

If you did rountrip to Munich you could probably find something in the mid-$800's.

Of course.

The only reason to live is to enjoy the world. If you're not doing that...what's the point? To sit in a giant home with perfectly-situated expensive furniture counting down the days until you're fertilizer? It's an age old message but it's true - life is finite. One day it ends and never comes back. I'd rather die fulfilled with an empty bank account than die lacking experiences because I was busy stacking away money that instantly becomes worthless the day I permanently lose consciousness.

And no, I'm not trying to start some weird philosophical conversation about what it means to live. The above paragraph is just the way I choose to live.

If I had three months to live, do you know how many credit cards I'd take out? All of them. All of the credit cards. Right now I'm fortunate not to have too much credit card debt, but if I were on my way out, I'd run the fuck out of as many of them as I could get my hands on.

Seriously. My wife's best friend just spent $3,500 on a dining room table. I had to pick my jaw up off said table. Her response was "that's just what a good one costs. And we got a great deal."

I buy my dining room tables on Craigslist baby!

We take the inlaws left overs. We have so much furniture in our house that has come from them its insane. They turn shit over faster than anyone I've ever seen. I just got a new lazy-boy my father in law bought a few months ago because he wanted a different one.

Looking into getting a new record player soon as well as a nice cubed unit to house my collection and put it in a more prominent spot in my condo. Also designing a storage bench with seating so I can have a listening area spot. Should be nice when it's all said and done. I'll post pics.

I haven't made a "big" purchase in a while. Most of my fun expenses are concert tickets and hotel rooms for said concerts. But it's worth it because that's something I really like to do. I did go down to DC with the gf a month ago and spent a nice long weekend out on the town.
