SA-CD.net gave it pretty good reviews, but I've yet to check it out for myself.

Back on my watch kick again...

Just picked this up as a spring/summer watch for when it's flip-flop weather:

My wife decided that attorneys should wear watches and that it's tacky to pull your phone out to check the time.

So, post-Christmas, I'm now sporting this every day:

So you may know that Radio Shack is closing down. I just went and basically legally robbed their store (although they're highly overpriced, I know). 90% off everything. I got:

-2 BNC barrels
-1 qrtr" barrel
-1 cat6 barrel
-qrtr to 1/8th adapter
-3.5mm X2 cable
-50' of rigging cable
-100' of cat5e

ALL for $9.60 out the door. Never thought of myself as a theif...

I did the same thing when Circuit City was shutting down. Got an Xbox 360 for under $100.

That sort of reminds me of working at Best Buy. Type in your employee number and scan a $300 HDMI cable and "$2.99" would pop up

The markup on HDMI cables in retail stores is pornographic. Monoprice FTW!

Yeah I got in trouble when I worked there. I didn't work in Home Theater. I worked in portable electronics and sometimes would work at the register. Every section of the store other than Home Theater just put out the cheapest Best Buy branded cables (Dynex). Whenever someone asked me what cables to get I'd tell them to get the cheapest ones possible and hand them the still grossly overpriced Dynex cables

Not to sound like a douche, but you may want to consider returning it for a Roku. I've had the roku, amazon fire, apple tv and the chromecast and roku outbeats them all in all areas.

I'm always open for an upgrade. How is the Roku better?

I plan on using my Chromecast for ESPN3, Netflix, MLB.tv, and YouTube

Excited about getting front row center tickets to Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn / Punch Brothers co-headline show in Cincinnati in June.
