I have had a Playstation 2 since I bought it in 2001. I tried to play my old Madden game today but the PS2 Intro screen never came up. Is that a sign that the overall system is dying or do a need a new cable between the system and my tv? Thanks for the help!

Did you get it via a pre-order or did you brave the crowds this morning? Mine is arriving from GameStop on Monday.

I went to my local Target an hour before they opened. I was 67th in line and had no issues. They had over 100.

I'd probably play the classic for a few days and never touch it again. Considering I have my SNES and a ton of games and never touch it.

I too still have my SNES. However, I never owned Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Final Fantasy III, Secret of Mana, Contra III, Super Ghouls & Ghosts, and Star Fox 2 of course.

Plus, the HDMI hook up and convenience is just so nice. These games will never look better.

I don't care how good it looks, RDR2 is gonna have a tough time stacking up against RDR1.

But the new Trailer does get me really excited.

I want to get an SNES classic, but I keep telling myself that I have 700 SNES roms on my computer. I might cave in and get it though.

Yeah I have a switch. It’s the first console I’ve owned as an adult. I’ve been playing the fuck out of mario kart and I’m sure I will odyssey too. I really like Nintendo and animated games...can’t really get into any Xbox or PS4 titles. Zelda bores me...couldn’t get into that one either. My all time favorites are the rareware games for n64: banjo kazooie, conkers bad fur day, dk64

I compiled Provenance to run on my appletv. All SNES roms and a bluetooth controller. Also have project64 running in VMware on my Mac. I can play n64 with Xbox controllers - rumble etc works!

Btw, if anybody has Pokémon cards, some of them are going for ridiculous prices on eBay

So, Super Mario Odyssey is the best fucking game I think I have ever played. And Breath of the Wild just might be #2.

Nintendo is having themselves a year.

It’s fair to say it’s probably the best Mario game ever. The creativity is off the charts.

Just beat odyssey. Very surprise ending...then it keeps going after that and gets very nostalgic. Nintendo hit a homerun, but should’ve hit it10 years ago
