That is exactly how my network is setup and it just shows up.

Did you make sure your PC is enabled for sharing?

Yeah I've had the file sharing setup between my 2 windows pc's for a while. I don't get the "shared" thing on the left and I don't see that Windows option on mine.

well the windows thing is my partitioned drive that I have XP on, but the shared just shows up for me. I guess check this first:

and on your PC just have the folder you want shared available. Just right click on it and I think you can say share this folder. Might be under properties.

Cool it might just be unchecked, I'll check when I get off work. Thanks.

I need a Dreamweaver like software for the Mac . . . hopefully one that's free.

Actually, I don't really need all the bells & whistles, I just need something that will let me access & edit my pages (text editing) from a remote server without having to download the file, edit it, then reupload it again manually.

Any suggestions?

I was wondering this myself. I've been waiting to update my phone all morning. I think it might not be available yet because Apple runs on Pacific time. I'm hoping maybe by noon EST (9 AM Pacific) it will be available. It will definitely be available sometime today though.

Do you have the original iPhone or 3G? I still have the original. I don't think some of the new features on 3.0 are going to work on the original (pretty sure MMS won't work) I'll probably end up upgrading. Not right away, but at some point down the line.

I have the 3G...sounds like the MMS isn't going to work right away anyways (late summer, so probably oct or nov before it works correctly). This is the feature I'm looking forward to the most as it seems like this is something that it should've had capabilities of doing since the first one.
