Looked at pricing for the Austin arena show...$170 w/ fees for anything lower bowl or floor...seems like there is no chance those will not be available for much less on craigslist the week before.

Listening to this late 80's gem on its 30th anniversary (well, one day late). I know the 80's don't get a ton of love around here, but this is a great show front to back. Everyone should give this one a listen if you haven't already. (It was officially released in the 30 Trips box too).

Madison Square Garden, New York, NY (9/18/87)

Hell in a Bucket
Sugaree
Walkin' Blues
Candyman
Masterpiece
Bird Song

Shakedown Street >
Man Smart/Woman Smarter
Terrapin Station >
drums/space >
Goin' Down the Road Feelin' Bad >
All Along the Watchtower >
Morning Dew
Good Lovin' >
La Bamba >
Good Lovin'

Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Currently listening to this stellar sequence from 4/16/72 Aarhus:

Truckin' > Jam > The Other One > Me & My Uncle > The Other One > Not Fade Away > Goin' Down The Road Feeling Bad > Not Fade Away

there's a lot in that "Jam". it dissolves into some beautiful space.

this show also contains possibly the raunchiest Good Lovin ever

(this show was played in a small college cafeteria at Aarhus University, Denmark)

No, I had just begun college in Florida a month earlier. My first show was six months later in Atlanta (3/24/88).

Rainy day today and not surprisingly I have been listening to a lot of Mission in The Rain. Best lyrics. I stupidly somehow never even registered that the dead played this too.

It would be cool to see Dead & Co take this out for a spin this fall. Mayer on lryics, of course. Though bobby sang it when further played it, so he’d probably glory hound that jerry spotlight.

that's a great one, but I don't think a live JGB set gets any better than the late show from 3/18/78 Warner Theater.

The Harder They Come
Mission in the Rain
Simple Twist of Fate
Midnight Moonlight
Gomorrah
Cats Under the Stars
I'll Be with Thee
Lonesome and a Long Way from Home
Palm Sunday

Hasn't been announced yet. They've been announcing them real late lately. 23 was announced less than a week before it shipped.
