OH SHIT! I am in a living nightmare right now with broken pipes everywhere, but they are still frozen solid so there is nothing we can really do yet...

Our pipes burst at home the day we started talking about it, then I got to the office today and pipes burst in a vacant office, glad I know how to shut the water off from outside the building.

Yeah surprising few people know how to shut off their own utilities, where I live we mostly have vacation homes, the fire department has already shut down 200 homes out at the curb due to water pouring from them

Fell twice today despite having my cane with the ice pick on the end with me. And my Dad tells me up North they've got about a foot and a half more snow over the past two days. Snow banks piled so high you can't see over them. Damn.

It wasn't supposed to snow at all in Scranton and we've got about 2-3" already. Hoping it stops before I leave work.

I wish to fuck it would rain around here. We're officially in a drought. I don't even know when the last measurable rain fall was. And it doesn't look like any rain is in our future either

You can take it. Just be sure to use a lot of lube.

With all those defensive hirings over the passed month or so I think hell did freeze over.

It was a pretty insane scene, I've never seen anything like it, not even during that Storm of the Century (93). Abandoned cars everywhere, people trapped in their cars for 10-22 hours due to the highways not being treated. In our area there was a 22 car pile up the day after it snowed. There was something like 904 accidents recorded in a 5-6 hour period.

The positive note was how together Atlanta came and all the brave people who went out and took snacks and water to all the stranded people. Glad to see there's still humanity in the world today.
