Last Show: John Mayer @ Smoothie King Center (8/9/2017)
Next Show: Tedeschi Trucks Band @ The Saenger Theater (9/16/2017)

Biggest gap I've had between shows in a while, but it's so hard to get to things at the beginning of the school year.

I know what you mean.

Caught FJM Friday night at Red Rocks. Pretty good show - but kinda underwhelming.

Up next is Isbell at Red Rocks 9/7

Seeing him in late September. I have zero expectations as I don't know much of his stuff.

I really like Fear Fun, but it's 3 albums deep now. Only hearing two songs off it was a bummer.

Too many ballads, his band never really got a chance to shine. Just different than years past. I'll catch him again down the road but where it's gone is different than where I wish he had taken the FJM thing. Interesting artist! Definitely worth seeing - curious to hear your thoughts after the show.

Very excited! He's actually in Chicago this weekend as I'm heading home for a few days, but decided to pass on those shows. Red Rocks will be just fine.

Shires opening is a plus. I enjoy her solo work and I like what she adds to the 400 unit.

I've been watching Avett's set with Weir at Lockn Festival all morning at work. Great stuff.

I actually thought he was quite good live, saw him this past Wednesday night. I honestly only know like maybe 3 of his songs so it was kinda cool to just listen and enjoy it as the show unfurled. I thought the band was excellent and really fleshed out things nicely. There was a song he played that almost has a dance club/techno vibe to it that I really liked but I have no idea what it was called.

That's awesome.

Probably thinking true affection - definitely a highlight

Can't remember my last show which is never a good sign

Next show: The National 10/5. Incredibly excited for that one.

You into them? I've tried but not my cup of tea. They can certainly play their instruments though.

I'm JUST getting into them so I'm not super versed in their catalog yet but they certainly have some killer jams. Been checking out some of their shows on etree lately and I feel compelled to check them out at least once live.

K I’m pissed. Last weekend we had a music festival. It had Eddie vedder, Stevie nicks, joe bonamossa, Gary Clark jr, and a ton of others.

I couldn’t afford to go. Ticket was the same as my monthly car payment.

Well come Monday pretty much everyone at the desk at work was given free tickets. One woman didn’t go because ‘I didn’t have anyone to go with’

Dammit I wanted to go. Could have called me I’d have gone!!

Grrr
