I finally had a chance to listen to this show on our honeymoon, driving from one excursion to the other. What a badass release! This is DMB in their prime and at their finest! The song performances remind me of the DMB that I fell in love with in the 90s. I will definitely be listening to this show more going forward, as it's legit amazing. I'm glad that we have a few different shows from the Fall 98 tour, since there were different parts to that leg of the 1998 tour that varied.

Well congrats to the new married couple.

And I couldn't agree more about this release. Definitely a keeper .

Damn we've had a shit ton of solid to amazing releases recently. I'm going to go on a jist here. Just taking a stab. It seems as if, management has finally picked up on what we like. Keep it coming.

Thank you very much . It's been a rough past 2 years with highs and lows, ups and downs (as evidenced my my "Depression" thread), but I have the woman of my dreams and love of my life by my side, helping me, so I couldn't be more blessed .

I love this release. My favorite touring year outside of 2000. Every song smokes here.

I think i'm ready to call this a top three LT. Just wish Tim was a little bit louder (lol). Even with headphones he's still too low. I think i've put this show on every evening after work the for last month. Excellent release.

Finally got around to listening to this one....a few thoughts:

Can't get enough 'heartbeat intro' during this tour, it's the best.

Love how fresh the 1998 versions of Crush sound, and the mid-set '98 Two Steps, for that matter.

This Halloween is perfect.....it's jusssst loud enough. Comparatively, this Dreaming Tree is also perfect, it's jusssst quiet enough.

Love what Joshua Redman adds to I'll Back You Up and Greg Howard's Watchtower intro brings some fire.

Finally got around to listening to this. I wouldn't rank this as a top-five Live Trax, but have to believe it's top 10 of the 41 that have been chosen to this point.

Will echo the consensus: This Dreaming Tree is the highlight. I also love the way Halloween was executed here, and context for its performance and busting it out certainly plays into that as well.

Do wish Tim was a bit higher in the mix overall (I just listened to my Red Rocks vinyl two days prior, and by comparison, he's so much more colorful and sonically laced there vs. this show. It's stark.)

I also much prefer DDTW played in this style vs. what it's turned into over the past decade, though I totally get why people love the all-out rock approach of DDTW now.

Spent some more time with this one today. This was such an inspired pick for this series. Not a show that was on almost anybody's radar, but so worthy of a release.

Agreed. This kind of release taps into the spirit of what Live Trax should be. Felt similarly about the '99 Deer Creek show.
