i also liked that hide and seek challenge a lot too. i was very surprised the one in the bottom of the cereal box that was sealed from the top was found and brittany's just hidden amongst the trash wasn't.
no way i would have thought to look in that sealed box. |

This is the first season of Big Brother I've ever watched, and I feel like they were very nice to one another for the most part. There is no way the final three of other seasons have been as cool with one another as this. And the jury questions were pretty lame... which is why I love Survivor... they fucking cut throats at Tribal Counsel.
That being said, Im glad Hayden won... he was more deserving than Lane.

this isn't that out of the norm as far as niceness goes. just like survivor, real world, etc. the amount of backstabbing and fighting varies by season and group of people. the very first u.s. big brother couldn't possibly be more boring, and then the second season had a motherfucker that tried to stab a bitch. this season was middle of the road, i'm glad hayden won because he deserved it but he's just such a boring dude.
i recommend in this order: Season 2 (best BB player/duo of all time Dr. Will and Mike Boogie) Season 7 (all stars) Season 10 Season 11 |

If there is a cast member half as hot as Brittany, it will be a good season. It sucks that Rachel and Brendon are pretty much a guarantee to visit the house though.

this season's hook is called "Double Trouble"
[Only registered users can see links.] Brother‘s 13th cycle — dubbed “Double Trouble” — will feature eight brand-new houseguests, the return of “some of the most notorious duos” from seasons past, and a very colorful house. (Get your sunglasses on….) The “duos” won’t be revealed until the CBS summertime staple’s July 7 premiere, but because we spy 14 spots on the “memory wall” — and because we took math — expect three pairs of familiar faces to pop up at the Venice Beach loft-inspired digs. Per CBS, these top-secret encores “will immediately impact the way the game will be played.” You can vote on who you think is coming back at CBS.com. The newbies, meanwhile, include (clockwise from top left) Cassi, 26, an Olivia Wilde-esque model based out of Nashville; Dominic, 25, a college student (post-grad, we hope); Kalia, 30, a writer from Los Angeles; Adam, 39, a music inventory manager from Hoboken, N.J.; Shelly, 41, an “outdoors industry exec” from Louisiana; Lawon, 39, a legal somethingoranother; Porsche, 23, a Miami Beach “VIP cocktail waitress”; and Keith, 32, an HR exec from Illinois. About the house: Per CBS, it boasts “an urban design that brings the outside décor in and the inside décor out.” Okayyyy. It also features a Frank Gehry-inspired bedroom, classic surfboards mounted on the walls (handy!), a Tarot Card Parlour and something called a “Popsicle Room.” (Maybe Porsche can explain that one?) |

Psyched for a new season. Although I'm not a huge fan of the gimmicks and "hooks". I'd prefer a straight up game of Big Brother with all new houseguests and no hooks. But we always end up enjoying it regardless. This season starts the night the wife and I fly to Chicago for the Caravan shows.

some of the twists i don't mind and some are kind of stupid. this doesn't seem too bad, though i'm sick of Jessie.
