July 5, 2000 recordings

I was going through some old posts and found a conversation about this show and its sources. I had (and maybe still have) Jason Goodin's MD recording that I posted about, which was as echoey as the others and has the MD tinge to it. I was hoping some of you old folks might know more about this post:

Anyone have this magical "Leehr" source?

Yes. I have it. I don't recall if I have the original .shn files. And I don't recall if he even spread the .shn files. I believe I obtained the recording directly from the taper.

Funny to see a past post of mine, as I haven't really posted much outside of a couple of posts in almost a decade

Sure. I think I have a third source as well. I often traded .wav discs 20 years ago, so I don't think I have any of these sources as unconverted files. I do believe I have the .txt files backed up somewhere, however.

My "signature" below has MySpace links to previous bands I played with. And my text by my profile picture must have been from when Roi passed. Perhaps it's time to stop stalking the boards and come out of retirement or at least update my profile from a decade ago.

It's good to see some fellow old timer DMBML members hanging around still.

I found the .txt file. I will get to the discs ASAP (likely this weekend). I don't really know where to upload them, however.

I also have this source as well as Lincoln's and Goodin's sources. Not sure who taped this one, though. I actually have the .flac files on an old backup drive. The Leeher source is buried somewhere in a mountain of old DMB discs at my parent's house.

I sat up in the nosebleeds way behind homeplate. Awful seats Great show, though. It's pretty great that I can put on any show from 2000 at random and be satisfied.

I finally remembered my login and also clicked "remember me" a bit ago. My AIM account was still linked which was kind of a weird temporal shock.

I really miss it. It was great for checking sources for a specific date. I used it to manage my collection and basically stopped keeping a list when the site shut down. (based on my last exported csv file, that was early 2014)
