Just got back from Django. It was absolutely absurd and I completely loved it.

I don't consider Grind House and Death Proof to be Tarantino movies, so I've seen all of his movies in the theater since Pulp Fiction

Well, Death Proof was written and directed by Quentin Tarantino so if that's not a Tarantino movie I'm not sure what the hell is.

The car chase scene in Death Proof is amazing. The rest of it was a total bore. I love his movies, but sometimes i think his dialog goes on way to long. They could have cut 25 minutes from Basterds and Death proof and i would have gotten the same out of it.

Grindhouse was a collaborative effort between Robert Rodriquez and Quentin Tarantino. Rodriguez directed Planet Terror (the first flim) and Tarantino directed Death Proof - while various other directors took care of all the fake trailers that played before and between the two films.

But yea, Death Proof was all Tarantino.

i'd be much mor excited for les mis if it weren't a musical. it's one of my favorite books, but something about the rawness of the story gets lost when they break into song (i assume - i'll let you all know in 3 hours).

Last time I saw Planet Terror, I was new to the whole B Movie Horror Flick, and didn't like it that much. I'll have to see it again, I bet I'd appreciate it more.
