All this cigarette talk makes me want to start smoking. Of course I'm about 8 beers deep right, almost anything sounds good. I wish I had more pulled pork. That was fucking awesome. I need to go to bed. Good night.

Job hunt is stalling. Rapidly growing disinterested in all the bullshit in the industry.

Thinking if August rolls around and I don't get a bite... I'm gonna travel for a bit. Who was it here who just had a crazy European trip? Might need some ideas.

Yeah I went to London, Brussels and Amsterdam. It was amazing. I would recommend just finding dates that work, booking your flights, and just slowly filling in the gaps between now and then as to what exactly you want to do.

Remember - Europe has a fucking awesome, I mean AWESOME rail system. No matter what city you're in you can end up in another great one in anywhere from 1-6 hours. I would recommend finding a city you want to fly into, then a different one to fly out from. Then, look at places between the two and slowly make your way from City A to City B over the course of like two weeks.

I'm going back in October. I'm flying into Munich for the closing weekend of Oktoberfest, then taking the train to Vienna for two nights, then Prague for three nights, then Berlin for three nights.

If you want more advice let me know, I'd be happy to help any way I can!

Also - look for deals from Aer Lingus, Air France, and Air Canada. I bet you could fly round trip from Chicago on any of those for under $1K if you play your cards right (depart on a Wednesday, return on a Wednesday sort of thing). Maybe even under $900.

Fuck I want to get back over there! Just moved into a new house, though, and this whole dating thing is pretty expensive. All I can do to scratch together some cash to take her down to New Orleans to see my brother and nephews right now. Might turn into a trip to LA to stay with my uncle, though. Aint Europe!

The time is: 10:09am

"One hand is drinking, oh, and the other hand holds the bowl / While everyone is sleeping, I am getting right down down down / the beginning is not the end, but tonight my head will spin round and round and round / you never know at all, the ground beneath is slipping slowly out of my point of view"

Happy birthday to this guy

Spoiler:
I suppose I should also report already having been sucked and fucked this morning, too

I love my birthday

Sadly I'm the same. Even after drinking seven beers, I can still walk a straight line. Damn alcohol didn't take. Looks like I'll have to wait a few days before getting my buzz on. Is it Sunday yet?
