Yeah no way it isnt up for national legalization in the next 5-7 years

Once 40-45 states have some form of it legalized it will be impossible to ignore. Hell its already impossible to ignore. Over the passed 2-3 years its come a long way, no reason to believe it wont continue at such a speedy rate.

I think 5-7 years is too far out.

I think it'll be up for legalization nationally within the next 2-3 years.

I feel the same way, just didnt want to sound like a dumbass. But with 30+ states with some form of legalization and the success its had in Colorado, I'm insanely surprised the government has wanted to jump all over it and tax the fuck out of it.

Yeah, based on marijuana revenues in colorado alone, legalization is a no brainer. Government by for and of the people my ass!

New York passed a measure legalizing medical marijuana yesterday, which is a good step, but I'm kinda disappointed in how restrictive they made it. It can only be dispensed to those suffering from one of only 9 ailments, can not be smoked , and the governor has the authority to pull the plug on it at any time if he doesn't like how it's going. For a usually progressive state, it's too much of a baby step.

Didn't New York pass a ban on soda amounts over 32oz or something? I can't remember but NYC might be something like that.

Philly just decriminalized it. And I think the bill for medical use is up for vote very soon. Pulling for it.. Now I heard this from my buddy who lived in Cali last year anybody out there that can answer please do so.. My buddy said that bud costs more now legalized than it does street value. My buddy was saying like an 8th of White Widow or something like that is 80 to 90 dollars an 8th in the shops when the most it is on the street at least here is 60. Does anybody know if its like that all over??

My brother bought me a $200 vaporizer thingy that looks like a fucking pocket bong/flute/silver dildo/lightsaber. I promised him I'd try it. I'm on day 17, but I still haven't gotten passed the whole yelling "I'll murder your whole family and cut your balls off" phase whenever someone annoys me

I sure hope it gets easier soon. I fucking love cigarettes... truly love them.

Jesus Christ, man! And 25! I just dont understand how there is even time in one day to smoke more than a pack, and even that is a stretch. At most I was smoking a pack of Djarem Black's a day freshman year of college but that didnt last long. 2-4 PACKS? That's obscene and expensive as hell dude.

At this rate I'm praying you dont have COPD by 35! Good luck with the quitting, that'll be better for you than ANY of the studying you did. I know how hard it is to quit, too, I did it for 2 years 3 years ago. I'm back to about a pack every 12-14 days.

Thanks dude, I'm sorry to bring down the thread. My doctor told me I'd be dead before 40 actually because I was born with a genetic blood disorder that fucks up my hemoglobin... so my body is poor enough at transporting oxygen before the cigarettes. I already feel a lot better but goddamn I miss em. Time to put the big boy pants on though and stick with it

I was taking classes so fucking far out of my league that I had to work 100 times harder than every other kid in them... but like you said, what good is all that if I'm dead?

I'm putting all that money aside now and am going to reward myself with the toy I've wanted forever: a Veillette Terz (like the one Dave plays but tuned to G instead of D)

There you go! Sounds like you'll have it in no time

And all of this conversation has been thread-warranted - I've been beer-in-hand

Menthols? Come on man. Flame (RIP) taught us better than that!

I used to keep a carton of Camel Turkish Royals when I needed a break from the Parliament Full Flavors (my favorites). Those old school camels without the filters were fucking delicious too but even too hardcore for me

I liked Dunhills, but they were really fuckin expensive and only in tobacco stores

Newports are the only cigarettes I refused to smoke, fuckin garbage

Went through Marboro Red/Camel Regulars phases often too but they're just shitty Parliaments at the end of the day

I gotta shut up before I fuck up
