Seeing them in DC Friday at Constitution Hall. They are also performing at the Grammys.

I second the Live Volume 3 selection for starters.

I got Emotionalism and I And Love And You on vinyl recently. This is my new favorite band. Incredible music.

Good show in DC. First show in the venue for me. Decent crowd and acoustics.

Any Atlanta people, they are playing after the Braves/Phillies game April 10th. [Only registered users can see links.]

Turns out Seth is auctioning off this piano (Been used on stage, in the studio, and is almost 100 years old) to benefit a battered women's organization. class act. wish i had the money to own something like this.

Saw my 3rd show on Friday and it did not disappoint. The best show of theirs I've seen yet, they just keep proving to myself that they are in fact my favorite band time and time again. To say this show lacked energy would be the understatement of the year:

1. Go To Sleep
2. Tin Man
3. I Killed Sally's Lover
4. Shame
5. The Fall
6. Will You Return?
7. Laundry Room
8. Paranoia in B Flat Major
9. I've Never Been Alive
10. The Prettiest Thing (David Childers cover)
11. Distraction #74
12. January Wedding
13. Hard Worker
14. Kick Drum Heart
15. Colorshow
16. Once & Future Carpenter
17. Head Full of Doubt, Road Full of Promise
18. I & Love & You
19. And It Spread
ENCORE
20. Magazines (the everybodyfields cover)
21. Salvation Song (Jim Avett sang on the last verse)
22. Talk on Indolence

Saw the avett bros yesterday at Summer Camp. Was pretty fkin good. They did an awesome cover ( I think it was John Prine) "Throw out your TV.." etc.

Was a really kick ass show. So glad I could actually enjoy them this year because last year it was so hot and I was so fucked up I couldn't even enjoy the show

Grabbed tickets to see them at Ommegang Brewery (one of the best breweries in NY, traditional belgian style beers, owned and accredited by Duvel) in september, pretty stoked.
