I can appreciate these guys, but they are a little too slow for me.

slow? im curious what you've listened to. they have some slow stuff (which i personally love but i can see it not working for everyone) but they have some serious high energy songs and if you hear them live it only get magnified ten fold.

was anybody here at the Radio City Music Hall show? I went, easily one of the top three concerts I've ever seen. They guested langhorne slim, nicole atkins, and the guy that performed with them on the four thieves gone album (except he kinda sucked)

I want to give this band a listen based on all the great things I've heard. What's a good place to start?

Four Thieves Gone and I and Love and You. Then dive into their older stuff. Or just listen to their new live release, since it has a little of everything and makes a decent attempt at capturing the energy they bring to shows.

I never checked out this band despite hearing good things. But late last night, Paladium HD was showing their Live, Volume 3 show which is out on CD/DVD. Holy shit. These guys are amazing. Bought that today on iTunes. So good. Glad I finally checked them out. Look like a lot of fun to see live.

Yeah man, I definitely will.

I fucking love this Live Volume 3. Is anything else of theirs as good as this? I really feel like anything else I listen to by them will be a let-down compared to this, it's just so good. Seems like a great mix of their tunes.

Their other live albums are pretty poorly recorded, but four thieves gone is probably my favorite album from them, i and love and you close behind.

Also getting into these guys. I've enjoyed I and Love and You since it first came out, but I'm starting to dig deeper. Sounds like Emotionalism is the way to go next?

I'd say Four Thieves Gone but emotionalism is great too. That's just my personal favorite is all.
