This needs to be topped, just saw them again last night and like always, they do not disappoint. Out of any act I've seen live (and I've seen my fair share), they put on the best show, easily.

I saw them at summercamp. Was a cool show. I actually only watched a few songs, but then listened to the rest on the side of the stage (because it was fucking hot as hell in the sun and I was about to pass out)

yah, i love that you can see them in any kind of setting, even if its as subdued as a little coffee house show, and they leave it all out on the floor every performance. and they're constantly developing their songs.

TAB is one of my favorite bands. I'll definitely pick up this release. Best show I've seen was my actually my first at Asheville Music Jam in June '07, even though I was just getting into them.

As far as albums go, The Second Gleam (EP) stands out the most right now. I and Love and You is probably their most 'professional' album, but I'm a sucker for their banjo/guitar and 2xguitar songs.

Hoping to catch TAB again at the SC State Fair in October. Last time they were in Columbia (St Pats Fest '08) the show (and fest) was canceled about 30 minutes before their set due to storms.

indeed

esquire magazine, while i dont value anything they have to say about music, named murder in the city as one of their top 5 "new" songs that were written "perfectly" like how amazing grace is considered a "perfect" song. the guy who wrote the article clearly was an idiot but its still great to hear TAB get those kinds of props.
