I have a 3DS, but I haven't used it in a little while. It's a great handheld system with an amazing library.

I hopped aboard the hype train for these last two nintendo directs.

Nothing major came of them. I would love to them to drop a bomb and announce a new Star Fox/Donkey Kong game or some VC news.

Nintendo Labo, while not necessarily for me, is really fucking cool. Kids are going to go nuts with that.

I’m working on getting the moons. Typing “cascade kingdom moon #3” into youtube is very helpful. There’s a new Yoshihiko game coming that looks fun

Goddamn the Japanese. Japanese people are obsessed with cute (kawaii) stuff. The kids are gonna decorate the shit out of that stuff. I thought no way Nintendo can survive in the smartphone era without just becoming a game company, but they keep proving me wrong

Have you played Donkey King Country: Tropical Freeze yet? If not, it's being ported to the Switch this May.

Yea, ill admit that I underestimated the LABO announcement. I rewatched it with my kids and all of a sudden I "got it".

I have not. I used to love the games on the SNES. I may have to pick it up. I got on the hype train and wanted something to blow me away.

Right now, i dont know what that would be but Nintendo has a ton of momentum and I really want them to use it. Being able to take the system from the TV to handheld is great. Pokemon is losing its steam, and a new game on the Switch would breathe new life into the series and get new people playing.

Like I said, I would love a new Star Fox or a remake some a classic N64 game. I saw they recently trademarked 1080. something like that would be awesome. I am glad they are doing well.

That game was a lot of fun but also obnoxiously hard at times.

I can’t wait to get this game and experience the challenge that so many people have been saying that it is.

Dude it's no joke. Beyond frustrating at points. But the satisfaction of completing it is worth it.
