Last Show: Bela Fleck/Brooklyn Rider in Boulder - really nice
Next Show: Chris Robinson Brotherhood in Boulder!

Anyone ever see Keller Williams? Friend of mine asked if I wanted to go... just curious what the vibe's like.

Yes. I saw Keller a few times, but not in about 15 years. Not sure what heís up to now, but he had that cool one-man jamband thing going on then using the looping. Nice chill vibe at the shows.

Might pull the trigger on Aimee Mann w/ Jonathan Coulton at the Madison Theater in Covington, KY tonight if my flights are on time.
Nice, I saw Pigeons here. Had never seen them before...that lead guy is a trip.

I loved the show I went to. I mean go listen to Doobie in My Pocket.

But this past fall he was doing a bluegrass Grateful Dead thing and I skipped it.

1/19-21: Umphrey's McGee at the Beacon Theater

1/25: Umphrey's McGee in New Haven

Beacon run was a good time and fun but wow last night's show in CT was absolutely awesome. A ton of improve and almost all of it was a home run.

Thanks guys! It's at this cool little venue up in the mountains about an hour from Denver. Probably worth checking it out.

Pumped for CRB, though. Really digging them right now.

It's called the Caribou Room. Opened maybe two years ago. It isn't the prettiest thing to look at, but it has exceptional sound. They went to pretty intense lengths to make sure it was designed for a great audio experience. I saw Todd Snider up there last March and it sounded great.

Spoiler:

But the location is unique. It's on the edge of a small town (2,500 pop) at 8,500' about an hour from Denver and 30 mins from Boulder. The drive up is through an amazing canyon [Only registered users can see links.]

It's not far from the historic Caribou Ranch, where a ton of classic musicians recorded. [Only registered users can see links.]

There's no casual fans strolling up there, so a lot of real hippies and mountain folk. I dig it

This one was at The Paramount in Huntington, on Long Island.

It's definitely worth going. I've seen them dozens of times since 1990. Still love 'em.

Got tickets for Ozzy Osbourne and Paul Simon this summer on their farewell tours. Can’t wait.
