The website SB Nation is reporting that Madonna is the latest old-timey pop star to be booked as fun entertainment for the whole family at the Super Bowl. The NFL hasn't confirmed it, though it appears that the arrival of an official word is only a matter of time. Madonna recently announced that she's working on a new record that's scheduled to be released in spring, with a new single likely coming a few months in advance. Which would mean that the most-watched sporting event on the nation's calendar would be an ideal PR opportunity for the 53-year-old singer.
