Ed doesn't hesitate to suck off Cameron on a regular basis either.

All kidding aside I like Cameron, probably more in the past couple of years than I did before.

i will forever love abbruzzee the most. i don't think i'll ever forgive ed for his massive ego/prick early 90's phase and single handedly getting dave fired

Please explain because wikipedia makes Dave look like the one in the wrong.

how so? all i can find wikipedia saying is that their were personality differences.

here's what i've heard:
ed had a problem with dave from the second dave was introduced to him. dave wasn't as liberal or shared some beliefs of ed and the rest of the band. they were doing the sue ticketmaster and fuck publicity thing and dave wasn't against ticketmaster or against playing up being a rock star a bit. also there were stories of him buying a handgun that sent ed ballistic. couple that with a supposed acceptance speech for an award dave did on behalf of the band that was a little too "normal" and not a middle finger to the media that ed or other members of the band would have done - ed had him fired. it's not talked about a lot now, but apparently the attitude of their management and label at the time was to do whatever it takes to keep the moody angsty frontman happy. i'm not saying ed necessarily agreed with that or was demanding things go his way, but if he wanted something to happen it was going to. there were a lot of differences, but i feel they could have been worked out. i just loved his drumming style and wanted to hear more of him with the band, he had such a MASSIVE sound.

this will be tough-
2001 doesn't get good until July of that tour
2002 has rough spots, like I Did It opening shows and closing encores
2003- decent
2004-2005- hello stand up material
2006-2009- well, you've seen the setlists.

enjoy, hopefully this doesn't drive you further away from Dave Matthews

this is the worst post i have see in a long time. not only was this mostly discussed already in the thread, but it takes away from the conversation. It was clear that this kid didnt even read the thread, he just commented his opinion. Man a lot of these new posters have sucked.
