That's it, Sir.
I understand.

I'm back reading this thread a bit and with all these outings of celebs regarding misogyny, female objectification, unwanted sexual advances and imbalance in power dynamic and the like, I can't be the only one waiting for the other shoe to drop for guys like this, who somehow remain adored in pop culture or at least not deleted from the entertainment industry. Maybe Kevin Spacey should just release a mumble rap album become a rasta or something? Or is it ok because he "let the bitch keep the money"? Where is the social justice mob?

Despite my somewhat limited enjoyment of World, and my reticence just a few posts back, I have to say that this does look pretty great.

According to the SJW victim hierarchy I don't think you are allowed to criticize what they call "POC"

Apparently everything in the Jurassic World trailer takes place in the first hour of the film.

While I get what they're saying, I think it actually looks pretty good. I'm in, as long as they never use that horrible idea they had years back about teaching the dinosaurs to use machine guns.

I think it looks like fun too. Iíve just been the sort-of naysayer about those movies for the past couple of pages, so that article gave me a few chuckles.

The Palace Theater had a screening of "Christmas Vacation" today for $5.

I've seen that movie 1000 times. Even funnier on the big screen with a crowd. I'll always prefer the theater to a TV

I rewatched Christmas Vacation last year. What a bitter movie. I found no joy in it.

Btw, the screener for I Love You, Daddy has leaked.

For everyone who loved Rounders when it came out, funny story. We watched it over and over in high school and college.

Even if he wasn't an actor, let alone a great actor, the name John Malkovich would be memorable. It's a combo plate of the ordinary and the fantastic.

"The Disaster Artist" is a movie that if I didn't already know it was a true story, I'd think it was the dumbest thing ever.

I really enjoyed this movie. I think James did an awesome job with this role.

I loved the split screen at the end. Just to drive home how terrible the room really was

I saw a lot of movies this year. I think these are my top ones:

The Disaster Artist
Blade Runner 2049
Call Me By Your Name
Get Out
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri
Logan

Some movies that lots of people seemed to adore were a bit of a letdown to me. Fine movies, but nothing special: Wonder Woman, Lady Bird, It, Baby Driver, and Dunkirk (sorry, this one was a joy to watch but the characters were so uninteresting and underdeveloped it made it hard to care).

I also enjoyed Last Jedi, but recognize it's problematic.
