Halfway through, and this is really good. Art of Almost is like nothing they've ever done.

Going on the third time for me. Great to hear the lap steel again. It's a very collaborative effort. Should leave SBS and WTA in the dust.

Yeah...I can't say for sure whether it's as great as that Being There to A Ghost Is Born run, but it can definitely hang with those records as opposed to the last two.

The first and last song are particularly sticking with me, along with Rising Red Lung and Born Alone. This definitely feels like the closest this incarnation of the band has gotten to sounding like they do live on a studio album.

Ive heard good things about it, but I haven't listened either. I downloaded a clean rip of it to listen to eventually. Let me know if you want the link.

Art of Almost, on the other hand, must be a fantastic way to start.

I'm really, really impressed with this album. The faster songs are fun, the epics at the beginning and end are highlights, and the slower tunes are beautiful and smart. I did not think this record was going to be this good.

I once saw a show where they ended with Be Not So Fearful, then again, they played two long encore sets, so I was content.
