I only recently caught that acoustic record Tweedy put out of Wilco songs. Pretty good stuff.

Came out back in June. Totally under the radar.

It was released on the first day of solid sound.

Which, I never followed up on, was fucking amazing. It was really, like, curated, for the entire experience. Easiest example: no shitty beer, it was like lagunitas and local beer, and beer was $6, even though you were a captive audience. I'm absolutely going back in 2019. Food was all food trucks, no microwaved Aramark bullshit. The museum itself is awesome. It was just a great, relaxed, friendly vibe.

Show wise, they did a website vote for what album they should play straight through Friday night. Being there slightly beat out Yankee hotel foxtrot so they announced they were playing being there Friday night.

They got nick Offerman to come out and explain the website vote, then took the stage. Tweedy didn't say a fucking word the entire time, they just played being there straight through.

Leave the stage at like 1030. No clue what the encore will be.

They come back out, never say a word again, and play fucking Yankee hotel, straight through, in its entirety, as the goddamn encore.

I listened to that show. That was almost perfection. It's like hearing the albums for the first time again.
