I have a Bowser amiibo that we have been using as a Mario Party trophy on my project at work. I am the current champion, and I must admit, itís nice to have it. The Bowser one shows you where hidden purple coins are. Each time you scan it, it shows where one grouping of them are. You can only see one grouping at a time.

Iím glad I have it.

Ah nice, yea those types of hints are only available with the amiibo. But as far as I know the actual unlockables you get from them can be obtained through gameplay.

I may have to snag that one, I'm having trouble with a few purple coins.

For breath of the wild, I bought cards off ebay for 15 bucks. Saved probably 500 dollars and they work great. I really the dig the outfits you can obtain using the Amiibos in BOTW

They are like bootleg amiibo cards. Someone figured out how to copy the NFC chip and put them on cheaper cards. So you get the functionality, just not the toy.

You know how the night before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest bar nights in the country? Well instead of going out I stayed up literally until 7am and finally 100%'d Super Mario Odyssey. All moons (999; 880 of them are found in game, the other 119 can be purchased to max out the counter), all purple coins, all captures, all souvenirs, all music... everything.

Holy fuck I haven't done anything like that since I was a kid. That game just completely possessed me.

Nice job! Are there ways to track the other collectibles too (purple coins, captures, music, etc) in game? Unless I'm mistaken, I only seem to be able to track the moons.

The game actually got even more fun for me once I completed the main story.

How in fuck's name did you do 100 volleyball hits? My max is 16 after like 40 tries.

That one is such a bitch. Once I figured out that you can use your hat to hit it I got the hang of it eventually... but it took waaay too long.

This and the jump rope one have killed me. Still havenít beat them. Getting close to getting all the moons though.
And whoever said the game gets more fun after you beat Bowser is right. Thereís so much stuff that opens up afterward.

There are 4 moons post game that I don't want to spoil. But one of them took me an entire hour to do. And not because I was trying to figure it out, I knew exactly HOW to do it, it was just way too fucking hard.

Mario games are always fairly easy with a few splashes of impossible.
