oh and i kind of forgot when you said " '08 " just how awesome the band has been this year. i'm usually very much opposed to in-tour releases just because it has been pretty stale in the past years. but this year would be totally different indeed.

SPAC Night 2 or Rothbury would just fine by me.

'08 is my #1 desire right now as well. unless it is a show I don't want. So, choose carefully RLM.

They'd have to try pretty hard to fuck up with this tour.

Like I mentioned a few posts up, 7/22 would be my first choice followed by 7/2.

Basically, if they are going to choose one from this tour I sure hope its one with Coffin, no offense to Roi, but Im sure we can all admit that unless something like this happens again, this is as good as we will hear the band.

That being said, who knows whats going to happen in the future in regards to guests, etc.

I haven't listened to 7-22 yet, but the set doesn't look too strong outside of Sugar Will and DT opener. I know people were saying they played very well, but the closing run and the encore are very blah to me. Luckily no decisions are being made today. There will be many better shows.

LT 11 has surpassed LT 3 for me I think. I know a lot of people don't care about this release (because we already had LT 3) and obviously I was there, but it is really a good listen IMO.

after an 00 and a 95 show being released I'd be surprised if we didn't get an 08 next.

For the Coffin shows: 7.22 wouldn't be bad at all. Disc 3 would be weak, but its really a fantastic show all around (with a nailed DIDO, Sugar Will, Dreaming Tree, Eh Hee, #41, a bitchin' Nancies, etc.). WPB 1 would be cool -- outside of the horns on DIDO it's flawless. Rothbury's fantastic, though we have the webcast out there all ready.

For the 'Roi shows: 6.14 is easily my favorite.

youre right it doesnt look that strong on paper, but ive listend twice now and the performances and "sound" of the band are out of this world.

the band almost sounds different (in a good way) than the previous '08 shows, even as recent as the mile high show. i dont know what it is, they just sound....that much better.

very, very good show.

I really hope an '08 show is NOT released as a LiveTrax, unless they wait until the end of the summer tour and pick THE best overall show. otherwise, keep those 1995-2000 releases coming

Id say the best 'Roi show' would have to be 6/25. So many really good performances. Loving Wings, So Damn Lucky, Seek Up, Two Step...

That or Spac 2. I love that Dreaming Tree and A Dream So Real.

You wouldn't hear me complain a bit with 6.25 in my completely biased opinion.

I wouldn't count out that show getting tabbed.

I can see '08 being a different record label release like Piedmont. the next LT will be summer '97/'99 or another winter '98..that's my guess.
