Maybe a subforum with 1 thred per live release would be cool.

Anyways, based on performance and setlist:

7
6
3
1
2
5
4

Aside from #4, I really really like all of them though. For example, 2 and 5 are low on the list, but I still love both releases.
Based on mix:

3
5
1
7
6
4
2

i get why the live trax 2 mix is shit on, although i think its good enough, but i dont get why the show itself is shit on.. its one of my favorites of the series.

People will tell you it's sloppily played, stale, going-through-the-motions. I don't agree, but that seems to be the concensus.

i'll listen to LT8 a lot more than LT2. the mix on 2 is bad, the #41 is terrible, i'm not a big fan of santana, and it's missing crazy-easy. that said, there are some pretty good performances of a few other songs. the band was hot from late july-mid august, just some more umph than GGP. all IMO of course.

by no means am i saying that its one of the best shows of 04, but i do really enjoy santana, and as far as live trax are concerned i probably listen to it more than any but 12 8 98.

Vol. 5 is great... I d/l'ed the original FLAC's from the Pig, but I bought the CD about a month ago with a gift card I had.

I'm happy we're getting a great 2004 show as a Live Trax, but I'm kinda bummed they didn't pick a show with Good Good Time on it. It may be a long time til we get this as a SBD. I mean we still haven't gotten Sweet Up and Down as a SBD yet.
