I wonder if this show is actually Dave solo or Dave and Tim?

Without looking at Tim's tour dates (if he's still on the road), I think it's Dave solo.

You'd think they would have had Tim lined up before announcing/promoting this if he was going to participate. I think I'd rather see Dave solo, too. We've had a ton of D/T over the last two years. More solo stuff is welcome.

edit - I caught that little Dave solo performance last year here in Denver and it was pretty cool to see him on his own.

Tims has cancelled shows including one here recently to play with dave instead but I agree, they prob would have promoted it from the get go

Tim's last show scheduled right now is listed as 12/23/17...so he could easily and certainly be available. There have been shows in the past labeled "Dave Matthews" where Tim ended up showing up and playing. So just because it's billed that way doesn't necessarily mean it's a solo show. I think we'll find out as it gets closer. They may just had to book it that way for time's sake, and Tim hasn't been officially confirmed yet. Wouldn't have a gripe either way, but I think it's more likely Tim is there than not. Seems that Dave doesn't like playing solo too much unless he has no choice.

On the topic of tickets, received an email from AMEX about the Taylor Swift presale today.

If you want a ticket in the first 15 rows, it will cost you $1,500 a piece. Doesn't include meet and greet or food/drink. Crazy.

This is what you get:
• Exclusive video content and a message from Taylor, presented on a built-in video screen.
• Limited edition Hardback reputation book with poetry, paintings, and never-before-seen personal and portrait photos.
• Specially commissioned LED VIP Tour laminate with matching lanyard. Operates as interactive wearable at the show!
• Commemorative Ticket and acrylic Ticket holder for permanent display.
• Special Edition Taylor Swift's reputation Stadium Tour Patch.
• Critically acclaimed reputation CD.

So they try to mask the cost by giving you $100 in stuff and that's being generous

I just don't understand the appeal of any of those pop concerts.... unless you're an 8 year old girl.

To each their own I guess, but I wouldn't spend a dollar to see taylor swift.

Im just nervous I wont be able to get any. I assume the brokers and misc presales eat up like 90% of a stadium.

Yes, having taken my sister a few times I have to say I enjoyed it (aside from the screaming fans).

Seats for Radio City are up, I got 5th row in Orch 4 (Center). Is it far to assume they aren't using pit seats?

Nice.

Jesus these tickets are pricy. I would like to keep the tickets under $300, but it looks like that is going to be tough. With hotel, food, and what I assume will be a $100 t shirt this is going to be an expensive evening.

I actually like Taylor, but I wouldn’t spend that kind of money to see her. I like how they didn’t even put any effort into the VIP thing, it’s just paper crap and plastic crap.

Seems like this new Ticketmaster verified fan thing will cut down on scalping and bots. But now the artists are just as bad as the scalpers. It’s just a question of who you’re giving your money to.
