Can we start speculating on b-sides for the upcoming crash/btcd releases?

As I recall, there were several songs that got at least started for Crash, but may not have been finished. Who has that list?

As for BTCS, I don't think there's anything left from that one that they didn't use. We know Machead never got finished. Maybe they'll put on a Leave Me Praying from '97 or something like that. I don't know what else they'd do.

For BTCS I suppose we could get Help Myself if there was maybe a demo version or alternate take different from the Scream 2 OST, studio #40, studio Get In Line?

I'd love to hear a studio #40.

BTCS should be paired with the Victory Stadium '98 show. Not saying it's the best show, just cool for nostalgia's sake. Same for Everyday and the '01 Scott Stadium show.

have you heard anything on what the resolution of this might be? I'm curious if it is the same as r2t, or if it is higher as I guess we don't know what masters they used (SLW indicated they had higher res masters, no?). I'm hoping it is a different source than the 44.1/16 that they sent to pono.

Well... good news for anyone that ordered a DMB pono... you'll have free upgrades for life of any purchases that are made on the store that later come out in a higher resolution... which would of course include this one (if the re-issue isn't already on the DMB LE itself).

I'd love to hear a studio #40.

IIRC, Help Myself was from the Crash Sessions and not BTCS.

I was under the impression that there was some doubt about that. Or am I imagining things? Anybody back me up on that? I don't think it was from BTCS either, but I thought somebody once said that they didn't do it during Crash.

Story I remember is that they band wasn't digging it during the crash sessions and so it didn't make the cut and they ended up putting it on some soundtrack for a scary movie (Scream?).

Not that this helps identify when Help Myself was recorded, but they were initially going to put Halloween on the Scream 2 soundtrack. They liked it too much so they put it on BTCS instead and gave Scream 2 Help Myself.

UTTAD vinyl/CD re-release 11.24.14 / Recently EP 2 10" LP Pumpkin set for Bla...

"On Crash we recorded True Reflections, Get in Line, Help Myself, #36. I think that's all! I pretty much decided which was to be used on it"

From Lillywhite in 1998. Suppose they could have sent the Crash Help Myself outtake. I always assumed it was from Streets due to it not being Halloween but I don't think they said they recorded a new one specifically.

I'd absolutely love to hear what they tried to do in the studio with #36.

Help Myself on the Scream 2 soundtrack was recorded at The Plant during BTCS and not Bearsville.

Me too. I'd like to hear Get In Line too.

The studio Help Myself doesn't sound like a Crash recording. That makes sense to me.

Yeah, I was gonna say that. It "feels" more BTCS.
