Aren't these the shows that will never be released because the RS owns the rights to them I believe?

I think they should do a new one of those. Maybe even try it with the same Richmond Orchestra. They've written a ton of songs since those shows that could really benefit from an orchestral backing (The Stone or Bartender with a symphony? )

I know in hindsight the Stand Up songs are pretty horrible, but back in 2005 most people seemed very excited about them and reacted mostly positively to them at first. I remember the reactions to the Stand Up songs from Roseland were VERY positive at the time.

Most people? I don't know about that. A group of DMB does no wrongers maybe. I think several of them have even changed their tunes now...and if they haven't, well f them.

I didn't mean "most people" to mean the general public...I meant people inclined to talking about DMB on a message board. After re-reading it I can see I worded it poorly.

I read it the way you meant it. Is still say most people on the boards weren't digging SU.

At the very least it wasn't as universally detested as it is now.

People needed something after ED and the scrapping of the 04 material. They wanted to see something positive.
