True, but I'd assume Vacation stuff wouldn't be it, but I don't really pay attention to him other than Community....

I started my Christmas shopping today and began listening to music as well. I think I will begin watching Christmas movies this week too. I am finally in the mood now.

Blew my mind when I caught Carrey's Grinch on TV the other day that the little girl is Taylor Momsen. Also blew my mind that she's only 19 right now.

Don't know if ggies beat me to this, but it snowed in Dallas this morning.

Also, Arthur Christmas might be the worst Christmas movie I've seen in quite some time.... (just thought I'd jump in on this whole Holiday movie thing..)

Unless your a Trekkie, its terrible. Santa's sleigh is modeled after the Starship Enterprise and it houses 10,000 elves as they fly around the globe delivering gifts. Nothing traditional about it in the slightest... Oh and Santa's REAL sleigh ends up getting blown to bits by heat seaking missiles... AND the 8 reindeer constantly drop like flies getting left behind to be eaten by Lions... or something like that

You guys must have been in a weird mood watching it. It's a kids movie man. The whole idea that the elves do eveything is a cute twist to the whole holiday. Also, it's an updated version with the enterprise. From a tech savvy angle, it makes Santa upgraded. But that's not even the point of the movie!

The point is about being into Christmas and believing in Santa. You guys obviously missed that part.

Believing in Santa? The whole premise sets on the idea that Santa gives up on one left out child that another elf insists is a "stupid child" at one point!

We DID watch it directly following the excitement of the Heisman Trophy presentation though, so maybe that effected it.

No no, that was his son. Santa just goes along with it because he's so old.

ah, Yes, that could have affected the moment.

Out of all the Christmas movies, I would have thought you and yours would have liked this one.
