I see them as providing variety. They did a few 90s shows, now they are dipping into 3.0. Why can't we get another 2000 or summer 98 is beyond me though.

I don't have a problem with the dude, but I have always found it odd how some fans just go fucking apeshit for him. They strike me as the same people who get star struck by seeing RAab walking around.

I don't hate the guy based on other people's infatuation with him. Seems to be a common form of opinion for most people to base their hatred of someone solely off of others excitement or enjoyment. Strange.

Anyway, he seems like a cool dude to me. Just loves his life, job and interacting with fans. Doesn't seem to take himself too seriously and he's produced some awesome moments on stage with the band, R&R from C'ville 06 for example.

Yeah, he's a really great guitar player and I think he's pretty damn humble about it when he does guest. Always loved seeing him come out on Rhyme.

I agree with this, but I guess with Lawlor and RAab it's not that they themselves are especially interesting or exciting but it's their proximity to DMB that fans get crazy with and therefore hold them at a high regard.

People who meet RAab often act like they are somehow one step closer to being best friends with the band which I've always found silly.

I met Joe Lawlor in a bar the night before a show about 10 years ago, i think a lot of the crew was there too but i only recognized Joe. Anyway, he was a cool guy, even picked up our bar tab before they left and told us to have fun at the show.

Lawlor is cool as hell. With some kickass guitar chops to back it up.

When's the last time a bonus disc was included with a live trax release?

For the most part, I really enjoyed those, and they were often a reason to order.

I think LT 44, which was Gorge 2016. I enjoy those as well. They seem to come most often when the show is part of a multi night stand.

They also seem to happen when the show is really recent.

Remember that Live Trax compilation? The Muse from various August dates in 1993? Yeah, they should do stuff that that more often.
