Are we really trying to justify this release by getting excited over a full band version of Rye Whiskey? The song sucks. It’s a terrible cover whether it’s played by Dave by himself or the full band.

There were so many better options for spring ‘09 as others have mentioned.

I expect this show will be solid but it is still kind of a boring pick.

Some people like it, but it's better used as a retort to "there's nothing rare on this" than "there's nothing amazing on this." Because the rarity is a fact.

For me its a great data point for what is happening that tour. I think some people think a #1 rarity show is across all DMB shows, ever...

I really don’t give a damn how rare some of those songs where that little spring run. This isn’t 2009. The same thing applies when talking about BW being fresh then. Non of that matters in the year 2021 for re listening value. When looking at the set now it looks pretty weak for that tour, with poor flow. You have several better choices that have more interesting/better sets for spring 2009.

. Seriously. Rye Whiskey is “way more popular”? I didn’t even know they ever played it full band but I also don’t care to ever hear it.

Great to finally get a release from that tour, but yeah, ultimately the only tracks I'm interested in hearing from this are Beach Ball and Rhyme with Joe, otherwise, I'll pass.

Could have been much worse, but they could have chosen something much better as well. Still no 2012 releases which is pretty surprising to me. I think that's the only year we don't have a complete show of.

Not my favorite opener, but much rather it be in that slot than closing or down near the end of the set, by far. On a nice cool summer night, I can handle it as an opener.

That's the only show I hit for Spring '09 and yeah it wasn't bad or anything, but not very memorable. A really great Bartender, and a nice run to end the set, but it was average at best.

100% one of the worst closers, such a let down in that spot. It's been much better without Boyd because they've shortened that intro quite a bit, man that used to just go on forever. Dreadful skreeing for like 3+ minutes.
