Studio albums, Live Trax, DMBLive, WH5, bonus discs, in-store live releases, interviews with the band, interviews or clips of other artists or producers talking about DMB, songs from bands that have opened for DMB over the years, live webcasts (or even older webcasts like 7/26/02), favorite non DMB songs from band members, interviews with crew and some of their favorite live DMB moments. It’s not difficult to fill up radio and have a good rotation. Christ, Petty had segments where he played some of his favorite artists and the songs had a common theme like each of the 20 songs had something to do with shoes.

Heard Dave this morning say BTCS was the first time They recorded with Steve when he was sober. Found that a bit interesting.

The Dead is a terrible comparison to use as the base line for what a band should have for its own channel. DMB has more than enough material.

I get what you're saying but DMB hasn't been around for 50 years either. They also haven't released every show they have played

I feel like every time I’ve tuned in since last Friday they’ve been replaying Noblesville. It was a great show but it’s not all I want to hear when I tune in.

Thats my point. I think it would be bit stale.

Also on the Petty comparison, i thought it was interesting (although a bit repetitive) he was basically the DJ at times. That was cool to me because he had unique stories about the bands he was spinning.

DMB is more live music, and i compare to the Dead because they have a wildly successful channel. Not saying DMB needs to have 30,000 songs to play, but 1/10th of that does not seem like enough to me.

Some of this is really obscure, i dont think theyd be able to find it like we would, or at least in a legal enough way to broadcast. Theres a ton of red-tape to playing music on the radio. Even talk shows arent supposed to play longer than X amount of a song or they get in trouble.

Major mixups happening on the channel today. Still got the Radio City Some Devil, but they played 8.7.04, 12.31.96, a couple different studio tracks, and the funniest thing I've heard so far, Anyone Seen The Bridge was played alone. Shuffle sucks.

They are playing a ton of the Live Trax from 95 salem, OR today.

Hearing a 95 #36 transports me right back to my car in high school. i never listen to this song anymore, so it sends me right back.
