well right now I'm paying $60 for 200/10. When I first got the notice on my door that they are going to install free wifi I was very skeptical. Cable is included in my rent, but it only includes local channels, the weather channel, and CSPAN. So I just assumed it would be some garbage public wifi that I wouldn't want to bother with.
Guy from the cable company came by today to do the install and told me it was 400/20. I was like damn hope that is true. Thankfully (assuming that is a real number) the huge box he attached to my wall has an ethernet port so I can hardwire some things.

Hope it works out for you and is ultimately cheaper.
How fast is fast enough though?

I guess dial-up was the Internet's version of foreplay and now with super duper high speed it's down to business?!

Fuck I'm old. What do those numbers mean 200/10, 400/20? And what does it have to do with internet speed?

Once again I won't be spending Easter with my family. But I do have a ham in my fridge.
Once I get off work tomorrow I shall enjoy the amazing ham. That with some mashed potatoes and green beans.

I’m baking the cake for my Strawberry whipped cream cake right now. Tomorrow I’m making London broil, roasted carrots and Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes a Greek salad and deviled eggs.

Toss them in a little olive oil, salt and pepper then roast them until the edges are crispy. Then some butter and a dash of balsamic. Delicious.

yep I love brussels.
when I was a kid my grandma always boiled them with cashews and carrots and I loved it. But ever since I started roasting them I can't even look at a boiled one. Same with corn on the cob

Has anyone ever noticed our “system” prepares us for a life of servitude very, very cleverly and gradually?
Age 0-3: Nothing but free time Age 4: Preschool, probably a few hours a day, most of the year nothing but free time Age 5: Kindergarten, half the day for half the year, recess daily Ages 6-11: Elementary school, all day for half the year, recess daily Ages 12-14: Middle school, all day for half the year, no more recess Ages 15-18: High school, all day for half the year, start working after school/weekends and during summer breaks Age 18+ (no college): Work all day all year, 2-4 weeks off per year, maybe tack some kids on to take away your sleep as well Ages 18-22 (college (non-rich kids): Study/attend class all day half the year, work between classes, on weekends, and during summer breaks Ages 23+ (post-college): Work all day all year, 2-4 weeks off per year, maybe tack some kids on to take away your sleep as well The motherfuckers running our “system” are sneaky AF. We had no idea what was coming our way when we were kids. Each major stage in life is simply preparing you for servitude by taking away your free time piece by piece until you have almost none.
