never did like Dressed in Black all that much... i think it was the title that everyone chose to latch on too. At least with Light Lift Me Up it was very clear that it could be called Light Lift Me Up

I absolutely love this song, and used to listen to quite frequently. There is a sound at the very beginning that resembles a girl's laugh, and for some reason, it sounds really eerie, considering the dark and somber lyrics.

Thanks dude, but is there a reason why Dressed in Black is so warped? Is it the source?

I've always loved dressed in black. Kind of cool that they had two great soundcheck songs during one of their worst tours... Going on Dave's quote about songs running their course, I wonder if the fan demanded lillywhite sessions rehash permanently killed a chance of hearing either of these in the future.

Light Lift Me Up was checked on 7/11/01 as well I think. So that progression was going around in Dave's head for a little bit at least.

I find all these smiling faces, locked up in a tired old rhythm in an old song I heard

I fixed the panning and I also fixed the stereo image so that the audio is more in the center. I also brought up the overall volume of the track. I hope you enjoy

I've heard both. I'm a relatively new fan, maybe serious for about 2 years now. I'm only starting to get into the rarities and stuff like that. Heathcliffe's Haiku Warriors is one of my favorite songs
