Second Halo was available on the US iTunes pre-order, but only the pre-order

Yeah it was never advertised as being available there from what I saw but only as a UK exclusive on David Gray's website. Anyway YouTube usually comes through in these matters.

Just got home from the Toronto show at Massey Hall. Pretty sublime performance overall. David was really talkative, told a couple detailed stories before "Breathe" and "Falling Down the Mountainside" about his inspirations behind them. Apparently tonight was the first live performance of "Transformation" so far. He told someone to shut up and talk over a slice of pizza in 10 minutes during the encore closer, haha.

Set:

First Chance
Fugitive
Sail Away
Jackdaw
You’re the World to Me
Be Mine
Stella The Artist
The Other Side
Ain’t No Love
Falling Down The Mountainside
Breathe
Transformation
Babylon
Everytime
The One I Love
Slow Motion

Encore:

This Year’s Love
Nemesis

Going to see him tonight in Chicago, but I was lucky enough to get passes to the WXRT Live from Studio X show they did this afternoon. Just got back...and it was awesome. Just David and the other guy with a guitar (I don't know any of the new band members' names...).

Fugitive
Kathleen
This Year's Love
[interview]
Draw The Line
Jackdaw
Babylon

I was REALLY disappointed about that. I heard it at the WXRT thing earlier in the day, and it was great, but felt like it was lacking something without the full band behind it. I thought I might find out if I was right later on, but alas, it was not to be.

Topping this after his great show last night in Raleigh through pouring rain. Very "Mutineers" heavy but it was very enjoyable.

Back in the World
As the Crow Flies
Mutineers
Beautiful Agony
Girl Like You
Sail Away
My Oh My
Alibi
Kathleen
Nemesis
Gulls
Cake
Snow In Vegas
This Years Love
It Stoned Me
Babylon (solo)
Say Hello Wave Goodbye
Fugitive
Please Forgive Me
------------------------
Birds of the High Arctic
Silver Lining
The One I Love

They cut "Last Summer" from the new album and played "Say Hello" instead. And the Van Morrison cover was added due to the rain.

Nice, I've always wanted to catch Say Hello Wave Goodbye live, and after seeing him about 8 times I still haven't. He's playing great shows this year though and I'm enjoying the new album. The webcast show on Saturday night on Yahoo Screen was an excellent performance.
