I like the album overall, but I can't help feeling a little disappointed by it too. It feels like a regression in a way. Or at the very least, it seems like an album where he's falling back on what he's already done and knows works. It's a nice album, there's just very little growth or anything interesting to it.

I think musically this is his strongest album. I love the arrangements throughout the album and feel they draw the listener into the studio with the band

Yeah, after one listen I'm REALLY digging the new album. Much better than his last few. Can't wait to listen more! I think he's found a better formula with his new bandmates...
Also, did y'all see what you can download the entire album on Amazon for $3.99?? Only for a few days apparently... get on it! [Only registered users can see links.] |

I'm not quite sure why he ditched his whole old band. It's not like he radically changed his sound as a result.

I don't understand why they would release some songs as UK only etc. As for the album I am enjoying it so far. Stand outs on a first listen for me are the title track and First Chance.

I found second halo in a torrent but it turned out it was in an encrypted zip file. In order to hear it you have to join some damn site to get the password. That is unless someone here is good at cracking that sort of thing.

I wasn't asking anybody to send me anything. I'm asking if anybody has even found a way to get them. Even if that includes paying for it.

The import single of Fugitive has Jitterbug as a b-side so that is available on that list for $8.49. Second Halo was a UK exclusive and I believe on Itunes only at that.

It may not be second halo but this is pretty damn cool He played this new song just a few nights ago and at times read lyrics from a notebook:
