What a fantastic show. I will admit, before buying the LT in 2018 (late i know) i didnt really understand how great this show was. I always thought 3.14 was the better show, but that was probably because of the fantastic video.
I think for my money, this might be the greatest D&T show played. Luther is fantastic, but this one i go back to all the time. That opening run is perfection and it never lets up. Im not a huge fan of the Rolling Stones cover but it picks back up at For the Beauty For Wynona then i love the run of Crash thru Halloween. If i had to pick one song from this show to listen to forever it would be the Last Stop. Perfect. The Stone, Crush and LIOG are also top tier performances. |

Luther will always have such a nostalgic place, but this show was everything that made D&T great for me. I like this better than the next night, but a pretty incredible two night stand.
Before live trax started, this and 12/8 were my two biggest wishes for the series. I had to “return” this show multiple times because the discs got such use. |

Back in the day this was something I downloaded a single track of and played it forever. I think it has more to do with my enjoyment of the song itself.

Still like 3.7.99 more, but this is a damn good release.

3.7.99 imo is the best Dave and Tim show of all time.

I'm sure I've listened to it, but I honestly can't recall much about 3 7 99. What makes it so special? I do vaguely remember that having the seek up with the reprise included.

I guess I need to go listen to 3/7 again though, it's been a while and I really don't remember much about it. |

If they'd recorded later D+T shows like they did in '96, I'd have a much greater appreciation for them. I've said this many times, but the open sound of the '96 tour that came from actually mic'ing (and recording from) the guitars makes all the difference in the world. I don't know why they stopped, but nothing will sound as good as a '96 D+T show to me simply because of the way it was recorded. The direct input sounds that followed sound so flat and lifeless to me.

Top to bottom amazing set, better performances. And one of the best Seek Up's you'll ever hear.
