It's an odd situation. Generally when the band/Dave does something, and it seems like they're waiting for a sponsor to pony up the operational budget before they do something cool, this seems to be a good thing where it increases the amount of people reached.

Just my opinion. And yep, that was a sweet little set. The sound was great.
I personally had no problem with him doing that and teaming up with a sponsor. It wasn't me that said that. I thought it was great, and you're right, Dave on his own or even with management wouldn't be able to reach the same amount of people through marketing that Verizon could. Plus, he's doing it for a cause. He didn't have to do anything at all, and people gotta remember that.
