My first CD-Rs came from Allen Chen labeled 2/2/93 which we now know to be 1/26/93. I was still in college so it was around 1999 I think. I got a 1x Track-At-Once cd burner soon after.. boy that was slow

i won the entire 2000 tour B&P contest off of minarets.net back in 2000 (i guess in the fall after the tour was over). scott pitner hooked me up big time. i have a ton of shows in binders that i rarely listen to. i do enjoy breaking them out from time to time to sample a tour or favorite year.

I'm nowhere near as bad as the author is (was). I remember trying really hard to get the entire 2003 tour - even burned them all to audio discs. Never listened to most of them, and ended up trading them with a guy for some blank discs.

At this stage, I really only keep tapes of shows I go to. I'll grab random shows that people say are good, but mostly I go after individual tracks (which bittorrent makes really easy to do).

Like the author, I'm at a point where I let everybody else do the searching. I just grab the cream after it rises.
