Dave Matthews Band - 11/20/10 - Charlottesville N2 - Multicam - DVD - Download

Finally got this done. Props to Adam and Chris for the original 2-cam and sharing some great pit footage that was essential for this mix. I had 3 other sources sent to me. This a mix of those 5 plus some high quality 720 media from youtube (full credits on the discs). Also tweaked it a bit after the youtube preview.

looks real nice. on average how long does it take to create a dvd like this once you have all the sources?

It varies a lot. I do a lot of pre-processing like running most stuff through a double pass deshaker. That can take over an hour per 5 to 10min song clip on my i5. Rendering the entire video takes 15+hrs so to check it etc takes time.

Syncing is probably the most important part and it's not necessarily time consuming but making sure it's right all across the board can be....

Here's a deshaker example. These are optimal results but it's still pretty amazing.

I also agree that you do great work.

Couple questions:
-Have you tried using plural eyes for syncing?
-Do you ever contact the original posters on youtube to see if you can get the original copy of the video so you don't have to use the crummy youtube encoded one?
