And Tillerson is out. He's "taking a little time off" 4 months into the job with the Department almost completely unstaffed

Really the best thing for the country at this point is to just let the shut down happen in October. Both parties are just awful.

Trump and sessions aren't speaking to one another.

And the moron in charge of protecting our nukes for prank called and stayed on the line for 22 minutes, even after
the pranksters told him that the country’s president had developed a new biofuel made of home-brewed alcohol and pig shit

“I look forward to being able to visit with the president and getting a more in-depth briefing [on the pig shit-based biofuel],” Perry told the pranksters, believing their story about the president’s biofuel invention. “If that’s the result, then he’s going to be a very, very wealthy and successful man.”

Yeah I hate to say it but the Democrats are not thrilling me right now. They are a mess when they should be looking really good.

You'd think they would learn from the Republicans. 7 years saying they wanted to get rid of Obamacare and now they can't do it. They had all the time in the world to come up with another plan but they didn't. Their entire platform was "We don't like Obamacare" but there was nothing behind it.

Dems are doing the same thing now. Their platform is "We don't like Trump" and they're not giving us any substance or solutions.

What a mess

From ages 18 - 28 I was a registered Democrat.

For the last five years or so I've been registered "Independant."

And Obama didn't change that, democrats in congress changed that. Loved Obama, can't stand nearly any other prominent democrat at this point in time (there are a few exceptions).

Loved Bernie, but even he's worn off on me a bit. Loved Warren, but she's starting to fall into line with all other democratic ideologies and seems to be stepping back on being more of an outside-the-box voice on the left, presumably because she's prepping for a presidential run.

Hate Hillary. Have for years. I voted for her, but I didn't like it. I can't stand how dems have tried to frame her as this darling when she has a long track record of changing stances on important issues (such as gay marriage and the Iraq war) when it improved public opinion and/or her electability. I was ripshit when HRC backed her over Bernie Sanders, who'd been marching and fighting for gay rights going back several decades.

I agree with Trump voters in the sense that America has become way too "PC," but I also think they're now trying to swing the pendulum too far the other way. I think republicans need to learn tact while democrats need to learn self-awareness.

Just wish both parties would crumble and America would start moving forward with a swath of grassroots parties in the future. Personal beliefs, for all people, fall on a spectrum (whether they want to admit it or not) and I'm tired of two antiquated parties trying to force people into thinking they fit into either one of their cookie-cutter boxes.

Completely repeal Obamacare, grandfather in pre-existing conditions at the government's expense, and kick the can down the road on Medicaid expansion. It's so easy.
