My favorites right now-
1. Bulletproof Radio- hosted by Dave Asprey, founder of Bulletpoof Diet and Bulletproof Coffee. He's big into "bio-hacking" and has a lot of interesting guests talking about ways to improve your health, brain, performance, etc. (as an aside, I've been following to some extent the bulletproof diet for the past few weeks and have been losing weight and feeling fantastic).
2. 10% Happier- hosted by Dan Harris, ABC News Anchor who infamously had a panic attack on live TV, which ultimately led him to discover meditation. He talks to people who meditate, about meditation and other related topics (guests range from the Dalai Lama himself to celebrities). Meditation has been an important part of my life for the last couple of years, so I love this one.
3. Pardon My Take- a lot lighter than the first 2, a Barstool Sports podcast that my 19 year old son turned me on to.
4. Starting 9- a new Barstool Sports one, focused on baseball. If you want to hear them talk baseball, and also things such as ass-eating with Christian Yelich, while Dallas Braden occasionally pauses to rip a bong hit, you may like this one.

Some others I occasionally check out-
Fantasy football pods- either the ESPN Matthew Berry one or Pro Footballl Focus Fantasy with Jeff Radcliffe.
Brokedown Podcast- a monthly Dead podcast I recently checked out.
Helping Friendly Podcast- Phish. Have checked out on occasion.

The main reason I wrote this was b/c I was thinking before there must be a good rock music podcast that had a Tom Petty episode this past week, but I'm not aware of any.

If you got any podcasts you love, let us know.
Dave Aspry is great.

I listen to a number of podcasts:

-SeaChange Radio: stuff about the earth and really cool ways to help save it

-The Art of Manliness: wide-ranging topics that make a great sidekick to everyday life as a dude

-Spittin' Chiclets: all things hockey and humor

-Wrong Side of the Red Line: Dallas Stars podcast

Yeah. Like I said, my son turned me on to Barstool (I follow on FB now) and their podcasts. Most of it is defintely aimed towards his generation, not mine, but PMT and Starting 9 are solid.

Man, I've had Crawling Back To You on repeat for pretty much two weeks now. Can't get that song out of my head for some reason.

Still feeling the sting from all of this.

Bill Burr's podcast is ten times funnier with a live audience. The audience was singing his ad jingles back to him. Hilarious.

I'm hooked on Marc Maron's WTF podcast. His interviews with Phil Stutz were eye opening.

I gotta check those out. I've been listening to Joe Rogan's podcast a lot lately. I get engrossed in these 3 hour chats he has with people. I didn't realize how bright he is.

I love the JRE. 3 hours of commercial free (if you skip the first 7 minutes or so) with some really intelligent guests. It's interesting, I think Rogan's stand up is pretty awful, I have zero interest in MMA/UFC but I think he's a fantastic host with mostly awesome guests.

I generally skip the fight talks, the MMA guys, and some of the comedians.

But there's so many "regulars" that are always entertaining: Gaad Sad, Chris Ryan, Duncan Trussell, Joey Diaz, Redban, Dr. Carl Hart, Jordan Peterson, Jocko Willnick, Sam Harris.

What's surprised me as much as anything is how much I really enjoy the hunters he brings on. I've never been hunting in my life, but it has absolutely opened my eyes up to it. Changed a lot of perceptions I had about it. Really cool.

Damn, I like both of those guys. I'll have to check out their pods. So I guess basically everyone has a podcast nowadays??

Between all these pods, music, sports, plus work and having to communicate with my family also getting in the way, there's not enough time in the day for all of it

Yeah, JRE surprised me. I like his talks on fitness and motivation. Always great when he has comics on. His talk with Jordan Peterson about "Kekistan" was out there, but intriguing.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like Corrolla's pod as well. It's basically your standard local morning radio show. He has some solid rants against the PC police.

I check in on the Carolla show every once in a while. I'm not a huge fan of Gina or any of them, so it's more miss than hit for me overall. I'd say a guilty pleasure is the Adam and Dr. Drew podcast. I grew up listening to Loveline and they have great chemistry on air still. He tends to repeat himself a lot, but Carolla has some classic rants on a variety of topics.

I especially like when he goes off on highways signs (instead of click it or ticket, why not write "the left lane is for passing, slow cars move right?) and we both share a real hatred for left red turn arrows, when more often than not it should simply be a "yield."
