Yea, it's very sad to hear about the unfortunate passing of Dolores O'Riordan

Cautiously optimistic for this one. Didn’t like the last one but loved The King is Dead.

The first song they put out is pretty different from anything they’ve ever done. I’m not sure yet if it’s a good change or not.

Yeah my first reaction wasnít great, to be honest. The vocal effects were especially offputting. Reminded me of The Perfect Crime a bit. I loved their last album, and this one sounds nothing like it.

I’m not really digging it either, but I’m hoping it makes sense in the context of the album. I didn’t like what I heard from The Hazards of Love before it came out either, but I ended up loving the album.

Thatís exactly what I thought of too. Remembered when The Rakeís Song came out and I didnít love it at all, but wound up loving the album. Hoping thatís the case again.

For you vinyl hounds, Tom Waits will be releasing his entire 1970's output throughout the year. Many titles have been out of print for a long time. The albums have been remastered.

Thanks for the thought. Since I already have all his early albums on CD, I figured those here who collect vinyl would be interested.

Aside from the remixing of Real Gone, I haven't heard much difference in the remastered latter catalogue. One song though, from Alice, called Table Top Joe has an added horn solo I scratch my head as to why Tom omitted it in the first place. It's lovely.
